Hello all, I've been wearing the same Seamaster almost daily for eight years or so, pictured here just for fun:But I've got the bug to get a new watch. At first I wanted to get the 40th Anniversary moon Speedmaster, but it's just beyond my price range.So poking around the internet, I found this one in my price range, photos below:I'm not a WIS by any means, I just know what I like, and this watch has what I'm looking for: Looks, automatic operation, and reasonably good condition. So, I ask the experts:Is this a real Omega watch? I went to omegawatches and couldn't find it there.Any thoughts on how old it might be?Any guess on how much it is worth/how much I should offer?The seller tells me that it is a 37mm watch with mother-of-pearl face. Speedy Pro Band Features vs Year
Hello,New to forum with a question about wristband on the Omega Speedmaster Professional.I have an option to buy one with s/n 4837xxxx. I have asked Omega about the serial and it checks out. They wouldn't specify the year, but from what I can find on the Internet, it looks like 1996-98, possibly 1999.However, there is no 3-digit stamp on the inside of the band where it meets the lug, and there are no lock release buttons on the sides of the clasp. Furthermore, the name and logo appear stamped, rather than finely engraved as they should be.Now to the question: I know the watch is real; however, is the band a fake, or were such features not present on the band for 1996-1999 models?Thanks in advance.

How do i figure out the info like model number, serial number etc?The back of it says 56979895; on the clasp it says 6554/866.Tried to snap some shots of it - but what does it MEAN? Anyone?

No (wallpaper) love for the Constellation?
Aloha! Been browsing today. (1) A comment: Whoever SLRDude and Croco are, you guys do really amazing images. I am really impressed.(2) A question: Why no love for the Constellation? Are there any wallpapers out there for the Connie? (3) Why the connie? No offense to the rest of you fine folks, but I am a little on the small side (5'9, 160) and the Seamasters and other men's watches and such fit me like a manhole cover. (For the record, my other watch is a Tag 2000 series, mid 1990s, long live Ayrton Senna!). So, fortunately for me, most watches out there are just too big.(3) Anyone up to the challege for the Connie wallpaper?
