It keeps accurate time and it is pretty, though the band is a bit larger and lighter than I expected (as compared to my old watch). I finally found a Like New example of the 5140p-001 (blue dial). I looked for one for about 7 months, and I recently saw a very imperfect example in person. I passed. Having never bought a pre-loved watch before, I needed it as close to perfect as possible. I found it. This must have sat in a safe for most of its life. I am over the moon. I feel very fortunate. I've wanted a platinum Patek and I love the 240 movement. I am done...for a long time! Thanks for looking!

Just received, One Two Seven.
After 10 years of wanting and wanting. I finally made the dream a reality yesterday. PAM00127 1950. This was the Panerai that made me aware if the brand back in 2003 and finally a complete, full UK set was available from a local Risti. Sacrificed my DSSD and 372 to purchase it but my bi-metal 116613LB sub is next going to be flipped for another DSSD as soon as a trade comes along. Very happy with it. Need to edit my signature at the bottom now. Had a quick pic with my 26 and 232 as they were to hand. Loved my 372 but with this in the box I know which I'd pick up everytime.
