Like most German things, this limited edition (only 150 pieces) Sinn watch has a complicated and confused name, but that has no effect on it being a very cool watch. Sinn took an 856 UTC watch with PVD coated Tegimented steel (specially made steel that is extremely hard and scratch resistant), and made a couple of special modifications. It would first be good to know that Sinn watches are the preferred timepiece for most of Germany's hardcore police enforcement, military, and other "hardcore" agencies. This version is made in honor of the German Bundeskriminalamt - Sicherungsgruppe (SG), which is the Security Group of the German Federal Bureau of Investigation, also called BKA). Help With Junghans Watch
Howdy WTFers, so I bid and won this Junghans watch. Vintage Junghans Incabloc SubSecond Manual Watch Now, being a newbie and all I didn't do the necessary research before bidding while it was shipped I began reading about different Junghans models. I read that their logo is usually an eight point star but also made some with a five point star. As you can see, this model has six points. so I contacted the seller and he claims he bought it at an estate sale and doesn't know anything else about it. He has agreed to refund my money if I don't want it but I thought I'd check with you guys first. I like the look of the watch but I wouldn't want to keep it if it's a dud. Also, can you guys tell me how much I overpaid by. I mean, I'm assuming I did, but just would like to know by how much. I didn't find any similar looking watches on the bay. 113 zenith movement?
has anyone any info on a 113 zenith movement? cant find any online info at all, has anyone ever heard of this type of movement. Its on a manual wind chronometer circa 2000

Thinking of buying a Patek Philippe 5726/1A-00
One of my local AD had one come in last week they've been holding for me (w/a deposit) and I'm having a hard to pulling the trigger. I've not purchase from them before. The AD I purchase my Rolexes and PAMs through has a 10 person waiting list for this Patek and told me it would be 2-3 years before I would see this watch. I trust them as I've bought many hard to get watches as one if their good customers (PAM 507 & 508)I called around to out of states ADs looking for the 5726 before I found the one locally, and all of them did not have one in stock and said it's difficult to aquire.This would be my first Patek and although I have spend more on only one other watch I have, not sure if I can justify the $44k price tag plus the taxes.Has others who have wanted this watch experienced the same challenge with availability? I love the watch, there's a simplisty to this gorgeous looking complicated watch and I understand the band to be extremely comfortable.Thanks for again for the fee
