- The Lucien Piccard Pink Crystal Bezel Watch is great though it is. The strap and the dial are great too. Dufonte could have imvedthe looks of the hour and minute needle which look classic.

Jaeger LeCoultre Q7068421 wrist watches news:
I purchased a 50's SS IWC on the Bay in January. Bought it relatively cheap. The case and dial are real nice, but a watchmaker has told me that the momement is shot. It won't wind or set correctly. It's about a 36MM, and has a sub hand. I believe it's a cal 88, but will know for sure soon. Anyone have any suggestions??? I know you purists will cringe over this but..is it possible to replace the movement with a quartz one??? Or, does anyone know where I can find a working movement???
Well, it's Thursday. What's on the wrist today?I only brought one watch with me this week, so I'm trying to offer up a different photo each day, as opposed to photos of different watches each day.So, here 'tis:
I'm looking for a tough utility watch (hesitant to call it a beater). I have been eyeing Trasers and was wondering what people who have one think of it. To me they apprear to be in the same category as Luminox, but it's hard to tell from pictures and copy. Trasers are quartz, have Tritium markers, stainless or Ti. Any opinions??TIA
Hello All,Just thought I'd post a general inquiry to the group.Do you prefer buying watches from large chains or smaller shops? I suppose a definition is in order - let us define small shops as having no more than two (2) locations. Large shops would be more than 2 locations.I could be a little wrong with the definition, but you get the idea. Just curious - maybe some input on pricing and relationship values could be voiced. Thanks!
Was out for dinner with a couple of close friends and just couldn't help my self in snapping a quick shot
