During its early days, Doxa was perhaps best known for the watches and watch and clock movements they developed for the automobile industry. buying new vs used
hey guys, I am looking to buy a seamaster within the upcoming months (2220.80.00) and I am wondering if there are any advantages or disadvantages to buying used? The one I have seen is up for 1800$, 2 years waranty left, all boxes and paper and is at 95% condition. Or buy used where my dealer said that 3800$ is retail and that 20% off is the norm.any advice?thanks, Brandon

My name is Logan, always had a thing for watches, good to see others do as-well!I currently own a Citizen Skyhawk A-T and I am in the market for a Seiko, never been an owner of one before. There are a couple models I really like such as the Alarm Chronograph (model SPC001) and the diver auto's.I would like to own an automatic Seiko such as the yellow diver model featured as the best photo of the month. Im looking for something to be in the price range of $500-$700.Any other info and "do's and don'ts" with Seiko auto's is extremely appreciated!Cheers

Just saw the new Rolex pieces for 2018. Probably the most talked about piece if the new steel GMT Master II pepsi bevel with the jubilee bracelet. My question is whether the watch is identical to the BLRO 18K white gold outside of material. In other words, would you be able to retrofit the new watch out with an oyster bracelet? Also, will this be as mysterious as the ceramic steel Daytona to obtain? I hear about these crazy waiting lists for the Daytona yet I see them all over instagram every day? Does every predict the new Steel GMT will be as elusive?Side note. The original root beer GMTs had a brown and gold bezel. Why the change to black and brown? Why not stay classic?
