Versace 87Q80D98F-S001 wrist watches news:
With John having just left us for Iceland, David and Ariel discuss being in Las Vegas for the 2014 Couture Watch and Jewelry Show and JCK, as well as the other brands we saw in town. There was a lot to laugh about, including humorous haute horology defects and marketing debacles. In the HourTime Show Watch Podcast Episode 159, we discuss brands we visited and watches we saw at the shows, including a lot of TAG Heuer, specifically the Carrera CH 80 (hands-on here), Ulysse Nardin and their Stranger Music Box Watch, among others, and Bulova pieces, including their Accutron II watch (hands-on)...Las Vegas has apparently had the effect of making both David and Ariel want to bling themselves out with diamond-covered watches. From there, conversation turns to reviewing watch prototypes and a malfunctioning hour striker watch we dubbed the "perpetual striker," with Ariel helping us through David's lapses into technical geekisms. Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 159 here. The di
Dear All,I already wrote in a general post (which I don't know how to link here) that I am looking for an everyday mechanical watch. Now, I thought I had made up my mind and decided for a Sinn, but I continued to look around because I know that it is a good habit in these kind of things to wait a few weeks after "deciding" and before buying to see if this is really what one wants. In the mean time a Japanese friend pointed to me the Premier Seiko watchesI have been to Japan and have many contacts with that country so I knew about Grand Seikos but I never considered them because they are really too expensive for me for an "everyday watch" plus the very conservative line is not really my cup of tea (I think there are now more modern designs but i have never seen them "in person"). However, the Premier is much much cheaper. Not that I really fancy the line too much but once I saw the back (only in pictures so far)...wow, the movement looks gorgeous. So the questions come: how does the 6R2
Hey allbeen loving my new elephant and ordered the rubber strap from AP service center. I am having a minor issue I have put the strap on the watch but the buckle that came with the hornback doesn't seem to be wide enough to go around the outside diameter of the new rubber strap and the springbar isn't wide enough to fit through the rubber it is completely hidden.Am I missing something or do I need to order a different AP buckle as well as the strap?picture below.
And at last it is my turn! After owning and wearing a BLNR daily for a while now, I have been on the hunt for this beauty. It was initially a debate between the Rolex 116619 Smurf or this Patek 5711.After a bit of thinking, and trying both on; I decided that the Patek was the one.I liked the idea of diversifying, and I also would be owning a completely different looking watch.Once I made the decision, I started the hunt.A few weeks ago I messaged a really great guy on this forum, who has now become my friend, and he coincidentally had a brand new one he was looking to part with.Fast forward, and I am now over the moon!!!This is a gift to myself to commemorate a recent step in my Job, as well as my upcoming 25th Birthday.I am extremely thrilled to own such a stunning piece, and feel blessed to have this duo at this stage of my life. After taking the watch to the service centre to remove some links, the woman over there was very kind enough to give me a travel case. Some pictures to share,
What am I missing ? Is the world coming to an end ? https://.ebay/itm/Rolex-new-c...53.m1438.l2649
