Zenith Zenith 49410 wrist watches news:
So, the OM remained stock for 6 days.I ordered two new straps this week and both arrived today. With the help of a handy push pin (watch tools still in transit), I quickly swapped both straps for pics and test runs. :)First up, we have the rubber with orange stitching (or rubber coated fabric, at least). I love the length as my big wrist means longer straps feel better to me.Clicky for full size image.Clicky for full size imageClicky for full size image (bit fuzzy, sorry)Black leather sandwiching orange leather, had really high hopes for this one, but it was the normal short for me. That means the strap catches on the first two holes when I wear it. Leather is stiff so it'll need some break in for sure.Clicky for full size imageClicky for full size imageClicky for full size imageClicky for full size imageNo, I didn't use the orange highlighters in the back ground to color the watch strap. ;)Clicky for full size imageI'll also apologize for the overall low quality of the pictures.
For a while now, I've been trying to remember the brand name of a watch that a friend of a friend had. I don't know how to reach the guy that had it either. I know the watch is a swiss made automatic diver and the brand name starts with the word "Sea". At one time I had it written down and looked at their website. The company produces many nice models and I'd like to take another look. The watches retail from around $400 and up. However, you can get them online a little cheaper. Does anyone have an idea of what watch brand this might be? Thanks!

Here¡äs a video vimeo/64786891#I¡äm so in love with this watch. Let¡äs gather all the information in one thread.
I have a 111 at the moment, but am toying with the idea of trading for a 024 submersible. It's looks so cool on the wrist and I like it more and more the more I see it. I'm wondering if there are any intangibles to consider, such as cost of servicing an ETA hand wind movement vs the Valjoux automatic, accuracy of the movements, ability to collect or hide the dings that show up, etc. The thought of replacing a bezel vs polishing out scratches sounds nice, too (unless I'm off on that). Thanks!
