Zenith 18.2040.400/01.C494 wrist watches news:
Looks like I've found yet another great place for watch reading & I'm quickly realizing there are way too many of these forums to visit daily without seriously impacting work performance, lol. Nice to see some familiar faces...Here's my little collectionSwitched my Pepsi over to a Coke which is my daily wear.
Hey everyone. Id really like to get a hold of a blue dial Royal Oak but know not a lot about them. From my understanding I would need to buy from a boutique with my nearest being in France. I did email them but they did not reply. Are these items on a long waiting list or fairly easy to purchase? Eg. Buying a sub vs trying to buy a Daytona ceramic. I have spotted a few models which appear to my newbie eye to be similar eg. Jumbo and 15400. 39mm and 41mm. Am I mixing a lot of things up here with new references and old? After reading these appear to be more delicate than SS Rolex models. I am careful at the best of times but how often should a new RO be serviced and what is the normal cost for this. Ive seen blue dial new unworn watches for ¡ê14000 or there abouts. Does this scream beware?Sorry for bombarding with questions. Thank you.
After looking at AP watches I start to like a lot the ROO line, much more than RO's, at first I didn't like them much, but had the same thing with Nautilus pieces, but now I like them more and more, the best for me being the ones with ceramic bezel, wether SS, RG, PT, or full ceramic, they are just awesome, I think they are clearly the best high end classy sport watches, RM are also awesome but they are totally different, they don't have that classy touch that ROO do, tomorrow I have an appointment at the AP showroom in Paris, I hope to see some great pieces, a ceramic diver is there for me if I want it, but hope to see a Jumbo and others.I must say they are very accommodating, as they agreed to give me 10% discount, since I also should have the tax refund it's very interesting, now all that is needed is the watch to appeal to me, I saw the white one, too white but the quality was great, on pics I love the black one, but it needs to fit me size wise, the diameter is usually not a probl
Since I got my watch just about a year ago, I thought I¡¯d do a longish writeup of my experience. Some of my comments will pertain to all Rolexes and not just my platinum Daytona.A quick summary: I got a two-tone Datejust in 1985, wore it daily until last year and always thought it was one of the great purchases of my life. But in the summer of 2016, I started to ponder the idea of getting a second watch. I got intrigued with the new SS Daytonas, fell in love, and put down a deposit on one. I then discovered TRF, lost my patience, and splurged on a platinum version that was about a year old. I know that isn¡¯t a choice everyone can make, and I also know I seldom desire really extravagant things, so this wasn¡¯t just a splurge of the month for me.The watch has been fantastic! I admit I don¡¯t usually second guess my very, very occasional major purchases (thankfully) and this has been no exception. I love the weight of the watch, the look of the dial and bezel, and everything about it
The band is a 92908 and I can¡¯t figure out how to remove a link. It doesn¡¯t have a slot for a screw driver. It looks like they¡¯re push pins but they¡¯re not because I¡¯ve tried. Anybody know how to remove a link from it?
