The moment has come when you can truly combine your elevated sense of artistic taste and deep appreciation for mechanical prowess, all combining together in a potent mix to imbibe your thirst for luxury. Oh yes, the painting you know and love; the one that you have posters of in several rooms in your house. Perhaps laminated for table settings, and transposed on to a welcome mat in front on your abode. The classic, dare I say legendary, painting that is Cassius Marcellus Coolidge's "A Bold Bluff," can now be worn on your wrist.Watch maker Anderson Geneve takes its Montre A Tact watch line to base the Montre A Tact Poker models. hello people!! can anyone give me any info on this 1950's - 1960's rado mens dress watch 17 jewels, spanish day/date with 18k gold square case and band. the crystal is plastic. the serial number is on the caseback is "rado swiss 11799." i believe the movement is an "eta" with serial number 2798 107. inside the back case is stamped "rado watch co. swiss 152 18k 0.750," with a small ladies head also stamped to the right of the 0.750. the total length of the watch is 8 5/8" long by 1 1/8" wide. 18k is stamped on the clasp plate. thanks !!! steve. just added. what grade is this movement? thank you!
Hi folks,I am looking to buy a pre-owned calatrava from a dealer.Having checked out the piece, everything seems normal, except for this:12o'clock lugs6 o'clock lugsAs you can see in the pics, there is a slight gap between the lugs and the strap, which kinda bothers me.Is this simply because the dealer put a wrong size strap on? (it is a patek OEM) They claim it is the original strap... sure it is a Patek OEM but the strap should provide no gaps.I highly doubt its to do with heavy-polishing of the lugs... the watch is only 5-6 years old, and looks to be in decent nick in general.Let me know what you guys think!
