Zenith 03.2020.670-01.C498 wrist watches news:
just had an interesting conversation with the omega AD regarding the new seamasters 8500 v.s the old seamasters 2500 co-axial" the 8500 is no more in house than the 2500 co-axial" - Omega ADbold statement?.....im not so sure.....he is correct in many ways.....ETA built the 8500 for omega from scratch around the george daniels escapement.....ETA built the 2892 co-axial for omega as well by basically modifying the existing 2892 movementwe are all aware that swatch owns omega and ETA so no big deal right?......well why are watch enthusiasts referring to the 8500 as a 'manufacture' movement? when it seems to be no more 'manufacture' than the 2500 co-axial?...is it because it was built from scratch?.....so what...it was still built by ETAi think the AD is right and in no way did he make an attempt to imply otherwise regarding the 8500my personal feeling is obviously the 8500 is a brand new movement but IT IS eta built......the 8500 is exclusive to omega BUT so is the 2500 co-axial.........p
Some of you guys will know me period, But im Mark and i hope i can be a contributor to this forum :)Anyway have a good day I hope all is well here also.
I have recently purchased a 29er big from Righttime, and have been very pleased - both with Righttime and the watch. The watch is running about +9s a day in the first week. I'm sure this will become even more accurate after the normal "break in" period. I have recently been reading lots of threads on forums about companies using cases produced in other countries, and this git me to wonderingwho makes Muhle cases? I doubt knowing will sway my opinion on the watch quality, but it would be nice to be able to brag that even the case is made in Germany. Thanks for any help!
Hey guys, I wanted to ask your opinions cause I am not quite sure what to do. I have two watches right now, diver watch typical submariner homages. The first is the Invicta Prodiver 8926ob[non-sponsor link removed. Post picture, not link to non-sponsor site] The second watch is a croton diver. [non-sponsor link removed. Post picture, not link to non-sponsor site] I really liked the look of the invicta prodiver a lot, but I was just hoping I could find a watch a little bigger than 40mm, So i ordered the croton to see if I would like the size better. I like the look of the invicta slightly more because it has a deeper look to it, but I like the croton a lot cause of the size and it looks better in person than the picture. I synced my invicta to time.gov and after 24 hours it was only 4 seconds slow. Today i checked it again and now its 5 seconds fast, almost 48 hours without adjusting the time. I never heard of croton, the watch was really cheap.. the quality seems
Absolutely silly thread I know, but I'm bored. We all know the 6538 is the archetypal Bond watch, but of all the watches featured throughout the franchise which would you chose irrespective of price? My personal choice (and absolutely nothing to do with the embarrassingly lingering camerawork in Skyfall!)...
