- I've had this watch for over 15 years and it is still looks great. The picture doesn't do it justice! Looks classier and can be worn with almost anything. The only thing I've had to do is replace the battery once... Great Buy!

I remember taking my first watch apart when I was 11, removing the dial and 'modifying' it so whenever you wound it, the second hand span round furiously, stopping randomly (don't worry - the watch was already dead when I did this to it).I loved the workings of watches and always wanted a skeleton watch.For many many years I made do with seikos, casios and a few swatchs, all fantastic watches but never quite being the 'one'. One of the vintage models I have long coveted is the Bradford model that was first introduced in 1954 (if memory serves me) and seems to have been produced for a number of years thereafter. After a few years the name was changed to Bradford "B." Based on the old catalogs and what I have seen online the Bradfords were Masterpiece models with solid 14K cases and Hamilton's superb 22 jewel 770 movement. They seem to have been quite popular as award/retirement gifts during the late 50s and early 60s. Recently I have seen a couple Bradfords with a 17 jewel 747 movement. Are these some kind of frankenwatch or are they legit? Currently there is one on the infamous auction site with this configuration, but it seems weird considering that it has a diamond dial (standard movement with solid gold case and diamonds?). This one is priced too high IMO, but I am curious as to what is correct because when I do eventually buy one I want to make sure all is well. Thank you in advance!

Audemars Piguet outdid themselves for 2017 in the ROO collection.
The 2017 SIHH offerings were exceptional and I had to be a part of it.First off, the new 26401RO subtly overtook the old generation. I was in denial since I owned the previous model. The new RO color scheme just works much better when on the wrist. With the black subdials, the dial itself looks less busy and lets the details really shine especially with the rose accents. The old RO was a hit in photos, but on the wrist it was too much going on. Was it worth the premium to upgrade to the new RO? Yes absolutely!If your spending this much money on something, why not spend a bit more instead of settling.The unexpected star of the show is the 26400IO. I purchased both of these timepieces sight unseen. When I arrived the IO SCREAMED at me. Just like any other Royal Oak, PICTURES DONT DO JUSTICE! The bezel works better with this dial than any other 44mm. The markers, screws on the bezel, and the hands POP on this watch like your wearing 3D glassesfort and weight balance is perfect which doesn
