- I bought this as a gift. It seemed very well made, sturdy and was very beautiful. BUT it was WAY too large, so I returned it. Just be warned that it is HUGE.

Zenith 02-0240-410-23M241DE wrist watches news:
In November of 2013, while in Geneva, I came across a watch that really struck me. It didn't have any complications, nor was it by a brand that I’d owned anything from before. It wasn’t even a man’s watch. The watchmaker was Chanel, and the piece was the ladies Mademoiselle Privé with an embroidered fabric "Camélia brodé" dial. 2 OF 5 Chanel, while admittedly not known for their achievement on a strictly horological level, has created a line of timepieces that transcend "jewelry" in my book. When this piece took home the award in the “Artistic Crafts Watch” category at the 2013 Grand Prix d’Horlogerie, I knew I wasn't the only one who thought it was special.Finding it hard to justify owning a ladies' luxury timepiece, I decided to look at it as an opportunity to design something cool and personal around the watch. I reached out to the House of Chanel to ask if they'd be interested

Just purchased on E-bay. Paid $300.00 MGI confirms authenticity. Had watch fully serviced. Sufficient value to add to homeowners policy as separately scheduled item? Any ideas as to how to value? How rare is the thing? I know it's only a quartz mov't, but it does have a lot of complications and you really don't see a lot of this modle in worn but vg cond. Can't really call it NOS because the case does have some minor wearing scratches, but except for that it's perfect - new crown, crystal, deployment clasp, etc.Thoughts?
ive been told by several people that i should look into buying my first AP from a gray dealer as they can give a huge discount. This would be my first luxury watch purchase, im wondering what the differences are in purchasing from a gray dealer as opposed to a AD or boutique. to my knowledge a grey dealer can offer a steep discount vs MSRP however voids the factory warranty. Is this correct?if some of you may please list a pros + / cons - list for purchasing from different vendors, would be greatly appreciated.. gray / AD / boutique.is the steep discount worth the non warranty? (if buying from the grey dealer offers no factory warranty)sorry if this is a noob question but i want to make the right decision when it comes to a purchase of this magnitude.
