I took Mascot around the city tonight, and he made some friends. A nice group of people were in colonial garb and I got a good shot of Mascot on one woman's wrist. She got a kick out of the whole premise of sending a watch to every corner of the globe. He also met an incredibly gorgeous redhead in a little black dress who was gracious enough to allow a few shots, but sadly the photos did not come out as it was much too dark at the time ....and bonehead (that would be me) did not have the flash on. :mad: We'll get to the sights like the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and some other landmarks tomorrow. I ordered a Citizen Eco Drive watch from Amazon last night to use for a few weeks while waiting for my Omega SMP to arrive. Well, the Omega came in today, much sooner than expected:I like the Citizen's design, but the second hand seems out of alignment:Is there anyway to adjust the above, or should I send it back to Amazon?

Evening gentsThis is my first post & possibly my first luxury watch purchase. I'm new to this although i have been watching these boards for awhile. Mostly the classifieds. I'm definitely a offshore kind of guy although i can see myself with an RO as a once a month going out to dinner type of watch.I see the divers are the cheapest, not really my style anyway. I've got my eye on an elephant ROO w/ hornback strap. (Not a fan of that either) How much of a hassle/cost is it to get a elephant rubber strap w/ diver style pin buckle?Also whats the group take on the whole elephant theme? Is like a gimmick? Or a possible staple in the brand? I only ask because should i panic after the purchase & sell i dont want to be stuck with it. Hopefully it'll be easy to sell like a Panda for example.Lastly these are expensive pieces. If this particular piece doesn't come with everything i want initially would you consider scrapping the deal & waiting for the right one? Just looking for person

Straps for 47mm PAMs
So I'm in the market for 26mm straps and could use some suggestions. I haven't been in the strap market for a while, having mostly used OEM straps for 44mm models. What would you guys suggest? 26x26, 26x24, 26x22? Short or long tail? Burnished v rough edges? Sewn-in buckle v screw in? (Pics would be appreciated)
