A. Lange & Sohne 410.030 Faltschlie?e wrist watches news:
You typically see fashion designers from Europe use the Japanese to make their watches (especially the movements). Evisu has turned the tables on this, and is a Japanese designer that is using the Swiss to make their new lines of watches, which look pretty cool from a fashion perspective.Evisu is mainly a clothes and shoes designer who started in the denim industry in 1991, based in Osaka, Japan. The name Evisu is based on "Evis" which is a name for the Buddhist god of prosperity; a very Asian style manner of naming a company if I may add. Good that they were optimistic from the start. Today Evisu items are clearly identified by their "Daicock" logo which is actually supposed to represent a drawing of a seagull in flight. It is popular for fashion designers these days to release watch lines to compliment their other offerings. Designers are beginning to focus more on a "complete" look, and are realizing that a watch certainly fits in. Evisu plays it safe and focuses on their own interpr
This is the Sub No-Date which Rolex sent for COSC testing. I purchased it several years ago, used. It has the serial number engraved on the inside of the raised bezel. The rest of the engraving is simply Rolex. What else. The accuracy is awesome. The difference between the COSC model from the non-COSC is the fine finishing done to the edges of parts and greater time in setting accuracy. Of course without the date there is no additional drag on the movement. I took it out of my display case about a week ago. It is running slow, about -1/2 of a second. I can't judge it more then that. I now have my eye on the Explorer. Not the Explorer II. The watch which does one thing. It tells the time.
copied this from another forum. Pretty funny, yet sad. It's some translated operating instructions taken from a replica watch site posted by a member of another forum. For your delight and delactation! See if you can work these out.The Explain of Mechanical-watchIn nowadays, varies of watches come into the market, and the function of the watch has more and more, example spininess-watch, but it is a pity that there is no explain of usage from those factory . So it get some inconvenienced to you all . According to my experience,I had write some simple explain of usage , hope can give you some help ,I will do my best and kindly please you point the shortage of me . The Method of Usage of Six-needles1. .The second hand didn¡¯t run when you received the mechanical-watch , it was natural ,please noted it ! (Look out it ,haaa !) And now the operate was begian: First please released the middle of button, than circumgyrate the up- clockwork spring when the button was released. I suggested you t
I'm sure most here have grown up with the investigative Docu news show "60 minutes" as part of your weekly diet as I have over the years. Off course the most Recognizable signature logo of the show superimposed on the screen between segments and commercials gives almost a soothing sentimental feeling and a Fond and comfort yearning of the good ole days. the original Brand was the Heuer Stop Watch which is enshrined in the Smithsonian of American History Museum with Fonzies Leather Jacket, Mash Signpost, And Archie Bunkers Chair. For me there's only one sound that is better than the ticking of the mechanical Watch/Clock and that is the pitter patter of the pouring rain at bedtime.
I got this a little earlier today, Has an interesting case, The crown has to be pulled out for the movement to come out of the case, kind of like a swing ring pocket watch, I looked up the serial number and its from around 1926, and the run was of only a thousand from what I gathered, If I'm mistaken let me know. It runs perfect! case has a little wear but not bad. If anyone knows any more about this one let me know, thanks guys!
