OK, it's time I identified my grail. I don't just mean my wishlist, I already have one of those!! (Note to self - update wishlist!!) But a grail - something I really really need to save for and search for (probably won't be able to buy new). So, I need to find one that is attainable, reasonable, and most of all, desirable!!. Update: I would also prefer to have the date on it as well.What I want is a dress style of watch. A white, silver or black face. Some complications but not too many. A black strap. Wants to buy used 15202ST. Need guidance
Hi All, I'm new to the forum. Hoping you guys could help answer my questions. I stumbled upon this beauty (can't post image yet) last week as I was recommended by a friend and I'm really interested to buy the watch. I found huge scratch on the bracelets. Hoping I can find some answers here in the forum. 1. Is it good idea to polish 15202ST? Do you think it will lower its price value significantly? I know that some brands should NOT be polished at all, but I don't know much about AP. 2. Instead of polishing, is there any other solution? Is it possible to just replace that 1 plate of the bracelet? I don't mind a few dents here and there, but that scratch really bothers me. 3. Is it possible to replace the bracelet altogether? Will it affect it's values somehow? 4. Regarding the warranty, I was told that its 2 years warranty had recently expired just a couple of weeks ago. As far as I know, AP has 3 years warranty. Be easy on an AP newbie! So nearly stepped into AP with a 15400 but decided against it for various reasons but mainly not a fan of them once they have picked up a few marks!So here I am again trying to get an AP into the fold.Toyed with the idea of getting a Ceramic diver a year or so ago but at the time it would of meant selling off most of my collection, well this isn't the case now but guess as it's discontinued sourcing one is going to be the issue.
