Brushing my Bracelets
Hate the bracelet that Tudor attaches to their watches especially the chronos. Too blingy and too many small parts which I feel makes the watch look feminine.So, first I decided to brush the centre links of the bracelet....WOW, nicebetter than I expected Came out so well that I also brushed the top of the watch to match the bracelet, but left the sides polished. Here's the watch with brushed original bracelet, but still not too happy with it. It really needs an OYSTER bracelet.OK, got one. Previous attempt at polishing the centre links but the brushed effect was "too deep" on the links and the underlying marks can still be seen.Time to refurbish the bracelet and brush it again....sweet! Yup, this is EXACTLY what I imagined it to be! No need to do anything to it again.

crown
simple question, i recently bought a seiko 5 snkf49 and i noticed that the crown does not seat itself at he case. there is a slight and i mean slight gap between the crown and the case when pushed in . i took the watch to a seiko dealer and he said that's normal and nothing to worry about. it won't effect the water 5 bar resistance rating. the gap between the crown and case is slightly noticeable when looking at it from the back of the watch do to its configuration. can someone put my mind at ease?

new Breitling club member, my new super ocean
Well, I finally came across the right one, and pulled the trigger on my favorite breitling. My co-worker/boss finally decided that he wanted to sell his super ocean, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time, and of course the wife was sick of hearing about it, and said in a text message, if you don't buy it, I'm gonna be ****ed. My boss also shot me a price that I couldn't believe, and the only reason why he sold it to me according to him, was because I badgered him long enough about it, so I stroked a check, and home I came with my new to me super ocean. It has recently been serviced at the local AD. I'm just waiting for my boss to get me the rest of the stuff, such as the black rubber strap, the box and paper work. The watch was purchased new from the local Milwaukee AD by himself, I have been there a few times with him, and they are super cool there. I can't believe I finally own one of my grails. He also threw in three hats, and a new wallet. I also bought a new 2
