Audemars Piguet 25925BC.OO.D001CR.01 wrist watches news:
Omega wants us to remember?that the James Bond films are 50 years old in 2012. Rolex is the historic watch on 007's wrist, and when it comes down to it, every man wants a watch with an included laser cutter and grappling hook. As a bit of an homage to the classic "James Bond" Rolex from 1954, Christopher Ward has released a version of their C60 Trident watch (reviewed here) with a specially colored bezel on a NATO strap. This version of the hot-selling C60 Trident Automatic has an olive green colored bezel insert and comes with a striped NATO-style strap. The steel watch is 42mm wide and pretty thin at 13mm. Over the dial is a sapphire crystal and inside the watch is a Swiss ETA 2824 (or equivalent Sellita) automatic movement. There are many versions of the C60 Trident watch and this is just one of them. Each is pretty nice and I like that Christopher Ward takes a good thing and offers enough versions to suit most anyone's taste. Price for this C60 Trident Automatic Nato version is $480
This past weekend was the Tarheel Paneristi Charlotte GTG. It was a great time for all and has done a lot to further spread the word about our community and the great guys that comprise it. I wanted to take this opportunity to share a great new combo that I brought home along with extending my thanks to those that did so much to make this event a success. So, without further adieu, my newest strap: I want to recognize the hard work of Adam Hilton and Adam Shadrick who did so much to put this event together. Their hard work resulted in a great time, great exposure, and an amazing collection of giveaways! Also, a big thanks to Bob Bruno for both his work coordinating our logo as well as transforming it into the stickers you see under my first pic. They are very cool. Finally, a big NC thanks to all those who contributed something to our little gathering. There were so many amazing items, including my newest strap. You are all great ambassadors to this community. Our thanks go out to: -Mi

This weekend whilst in Bahrain we went to a jewellery and watch exhibition. On the Patek stand they had the Ref.5101P Ten day power reserve tourbillon. I asked the guys on the stand where it was as I'd never seen one. To my surprise and without hesitation, they took it out of the armour glass display and placed it in my hand. What a beauty!! The price as far as I can work out is ¡ê175,000!!! Brenda said I couldn't have it so I had to hand it back. I don't have any pictures because last year I went to the same event and almost got arrested for photographing jewels. Here's a link to an article on the watch. .thepurists/brandjpg/pp/sihh03/
I am thinking of selling my Sub Date to finance the watch that has been haunting me for the last year, the BLNR... I take good care of my watches but the bracelet shows of course some desk diving scratches especially on the clasp. no dent do ding no deep scratches just the usual swirls...Should I take the bracelet to the RSC and have them to do a little polish?will they polish the bracelet without doing a complete service? (the watch is only 2 years old)?is it worth it?I myself alway buy BNIB or LNIB so I don't really know the expectation of second hands buyers..Thanks.
