Jaeger LeCoultre 146.3.97 wrist watches news:
I was reading this month's WATCHTIME magazine, and noticed a newer Rolex ad for the Everose Daytona. I then noticed that the markers on this Daytona variation seems to use the same style markers (white gold painted black) as the white dial Explorer II! I think these are the only two Rolex models which use this particular style of market. Here's some quick and dirty iPhone 3Gs pics of the magazine ad:My old Explorer II:
Truly a first world problem thread title... lamenting over a watch purchase, but I digress...Background: 3 years ago, within a month, I got married, started my own consulting firm, got sued by my ex boss, and turned 30. My wife and I sacrificed everything financially, physically, and emotionally throughout my startup. Moving in with the parents, eating canned meat, and working a second job at night for a year was all worth it as I beat the lawsuit, stayed married, and the business has become a tremendous success. (Unfortunately I didn't stay 30). I suppose I've given this detailed background because while my wife and I are now able to live a substantially greater lifestyle, I'm still very much in touch with how we got here. I don't have to shop on price anymore, but I have always, and still do, shop on value. I make very deliberate buying decisions for the long term - buy once cry once. On top of this I'm a very sentimental person, so it is unlikely that I would ever sell or trade som
Don't ask me why it was on, but last night I turned on the TV and Miami Airport 24/7 was on. A guy had been caught going through customs with ~10-15 APs, mostly gold. They said the value was $400k. It was surprising how much attention they spent describing the watches, and their worth. Anyone else see it?
Hello everybody,I'm trading my Breitling for a new Omega. But I'm still desciding which one:- Omega Speedmaster moonphase Master Chronometer with Blue face and alligator strap- Omega Seamaster master chronometer Deep BlackWhich one would you pick?Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk Pro
Hey guys and gals, I inherited this watch from my Great Uncle. I know the case is gold due to the expandable bracelet wore part of it down, but it doesn't have the typical Seamaster logo on the back. I know he had the watch for a very long time. It still runs, but it sounds like the rotors needs to be tightened and it needs a new crown and stem. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
