ON THE INSIDE OF THE BACK COVER IS STAMPED: GRUEN VERI-THIN CASE AND TIMED IN U.S.A. BY GRUEN WATCH CO., STAR WATCH CASE CO., 10K GOLD FILLED BEZEL, GUILDLITE BACK 724740 405 377. ON THE MOVEMENT IS STAMPED GRUEN WATCH CO. PRECISION 17 JEWELS VERI-THIN SWITZERLAND. THE VERI-THIN IS ENGRAVED ON THE TRAIN BRIDGE NOT ON THE RATCHET WHEEL. Ceragold...
So... My understanding is that the ceragold refers to the bezel only...Is this correct?I was hoping that it would be some kind of gold pvd coating on the case that would make it scratch resistant....I guess not.Seems like Ceragold is just a fancier name, like liquid metal...Still a gorgeous watch...but not as exciting as the name would suggest....Rolex has been blending precious metals and ceramic bezeks for over 7 years now...

New PM 36 MM Datejust
With the 116238 being the current 36 mm PM DJ, perhaps Rolex should offer the DJ in other PM. There are the 116139's which are the WG versions of the 116138. The 116139 is the only 36 mm size DJ I know of that is in solid WG, and it is on a leather strap and not a bracelet.Perhaps Rolex can make a 36 mm WG DJ with a WG President bracelet instead of a jubilee. I think that would be really cool. Perhaps they could do a RG DJ with a oyster bracelet .. I'd buy either one of them if Rolex came out with a different 36 mm DJ
