A.Lange Sohne 702.025 wrist watches news:
Hey all, I just bought this Vintage Hamilton off ebay, the seller did not know a lot about it other than it is from the 60s. I am trying to get some more information about it. ThanksPics:
Last year between Christmas and Easter I grabbed a few nice pieces (including my ChronoCockpit). Then it picked up and May was a great month. Things kind of slowed down after that. This year has the same pattern, and I've noticed that 2007 had a similar pattern. Well, I just made a deal for another vintage grail of mine! I'm not going to say what it is until I have it in my hands, but it's one I've been dreaming about for years. (hint - I'm a James Bond fan) Now, the poor thing is in need of some restoration but it's the exact movement and case size I've been looking for. I'm one happy WIS right now! Okay, let me share my good fortune: if anyone can guess what brand and model it is they'll receive this 20 mm strap (CONUS shipping included):Feel free to search my previous threads as I have talked about it before
I'm not a Breitling guy but this is a Stunner!. Any idea how much would be the price of this on the pre-owned market?
So I joined the forum a few months ago to educate myself on Rolex¡¯s. I have always wanted a submariner and had my heart set on a no date 14060M. I prefer the vintage style and size of earlier watches and didn¡¯t want anything flashy. Eventually after looking around I just didn¡¯t feel confident enough to buy a used Rolex either online or private party. I had a local dealer quote me a price on a used one which was basically new msrp.Dismayed I began looking for alternatives. That¡¯s when I found the Omega 60th anniversary collection and specifically the Seamaster. I know some find this to be ¡°fake¡± vintage, but this watch had everything I was looking for. It¡¯s the right size, clean lines and dial and will be a perfect one watch for daily wear. The watch arrived today and am extremely excited. I don¡¯t think I would have had the same feeling with a used Rolex.Pictures to follow when it¡¯s light out and bracelet is sized.
My wife saw a watch at our local AD - the Patek Philippe 4920. Problem is, it's a quartz - and a lot of money. Is a quartz ever worth a lot of money? Your opinions, please.
