Alpina AL-240LSD3V6 wrist watches news:
I have a question for everybody, I want to change out the clasp on my Plat. Yachtie to a Daytona clasp or GMT IIc clasp (after seeing Scott's pictures). I called a watchmaker who does high end watches, Rolex, Omega, etc., they said that they can order either clasp, as I own both Daytona and GMT IIc (I know they do a serial # check). OK this is where it gets tricky, they told me that Rolex makes them return the original clasp. Well that does not help me since I only want to put this new one on my Yachtmaster. Has anybody heard of such a policy? I know Rolex is particular about keeping their watches original, and all they would know is that I want another clasp for a watch I own (Daytona or GMT IIc). My feelings are that I purchased the clasp that came on the watch and I would be purchasing the new clasp, I bought both, how can they say they must return the original to be able to get a new one. Please nobody say they are Rolex and they can do whatever they want. Thanks for
I've got some numbers for a Seamaster Auto - - - but no pics. Have the chance to trade some items for this watch and was wondering if anyone could I.D. it for me. Numbers are as follows:-The most prominent number is 1020, other numbers are 1660209, 41, 874848. The numbers are all on the movement, none on the case. The pics I was supplied are very blurry and The info supplied says the watch was bought in 1980. Thanks in advance, Brian.

Hey guys,I have the possibility of purchasing this 372 from a close friend. He used to wear it a lot, but now cant even remember when was the last time it saw some wristime, probably more than a year ago. It is beat up, with a lot of scraches on the cristal and case, but I could get it in very favourable condition and price if I really intend to stay with it. Would love to hear your thoughts on this model, since I am no Paneristi, although I do own some models: 273, 424 and 449, so this would be my first Luminor. Also, I really dont like the original strap, definetely would change it, if you have some pictures do share i would appreciate. Thanks. (Sorry for the bad pictures)Enviado do meu iPhone usando Tapatalk
Can someone fill me in on the 526 please. I can't find one anywhere - is it because deliveries haven't started or it has already sold out? Forgive the basic questions but I am not up to speed on it at all. TIA.
