- The only complaint is that the time must be adjusted after you take it off. Every morning I must adjust the time, because it stops when your not wearing it. I still love it though. It's a keeper!

I'm sure what the answer will be from most, but I'll ask anyway. I have always liked collecting watches, and was buying Tag and Hamilton level stuff. I just made the jump to a DJII, and now want a new weekend sports watch to compliment it. Long story short is I love the Breitling Superocean 42 and the Explorer II. With that said after just buying my first Rolex my budget is a little shot. I know very little about Breitling watches, but is the Superocean a good fill in until I can get an Explorer II down the road?(most likely several years).
If some of you remember back in Feburary, I posted an image of my Vintage Pie Pan Connie and a couple of members taged it as not real, with the dial having some issues.I contacted the dealer I bought it from and he said let him look at it and if he agreed he would make good on it.Well he finially did. It took two months to get my refund but he stood behind his sale. This is after I purchased it over three years ago.So that goes to show there are some honest dealers out there. He said it was a consignment piece and he missed the details that were pointed out by TRF members in one posting. Many thanks to the members who pointed it out to me. I would of gone for the rest of my life thinking I had a collectors piece when in actuallity it was a Frankenwatch.TRF is the best watch forum on the net.Best regards,Mort
Good afternoon everyone, I am on the search for purchasing my first Rolex. I have been primarily looking at submariners, particularly pre-owned, excellent condition, and from several decades ago. I have came across reference 16803 with the black on black bezel and dial. The watch is in Excellent condition and comes with original box and papers. I would be paying around $7,000 USD. As a 20 year old I¡¯m not as experienced, so I would love to get your opinions on the price and anything specific I should look out for on the watch. Thank you and have a great day.
It¡¯s a question I¡¯m sure we¡¯ve heard before but after seeing these new chocolate dial DateJust I¡¯ve got that burning feeling inside telling me I need one.I¡¯ve alwsys been a bit put off from two tones as I¡¯ve heard many times before that it looks like an old mans watch , until last year never liked the DateJust, I now own two steel models but feel now that it¡¯s time I got a gold steel version.I have subs , GMTs , YM and a Gold Daytona , I¡¯m 41 years old now so maybe Its time ?
