Audemars Piguet 26003BC.OO.D002CR.01 wrist watches news:
After a summer break, it's time to get the camera out again. I hope you enjoy this first attempt at a fun photo.
How often should I rotate wearing my autos?I have three watches i care about wearing and no winder.Right now I wear them when ever i feel like it, sometimes I'll wear one for weeks then get another, wind it up and wear it for a few days to a few week then switch again; each time letting the non-worn wind down until i take them out for a spin.To me its like a car, you don't let it sit and run while your not going to be using it.So what do you guys recommend? Seems to me keeping them all runnning all the time adds extra wear, but monthly ( weekly) rotations are enough to spread the love...er I mean oil around and keep things happy.
will Jumbo hold value if bought new at MSRP vs SS Daytona at MSRP at resale. trying to generate some thoughts.I love the jumbo but dunno about their resale value let say after 4 to 5 years. I know i will miss my Hulk and daytona if i sale them to get the jumbo. would you even do it or not?
I have this fantastic watch with a standard (horn back) strap but the clasp is a bit uncomfortable. I'm told that AP do a smaller strap for this watch and that it might be more comfortable for me.Does anyone know what the smaller strap is like? Does it look the same as the regular size one? Does it have a clasp or buckle? And big question.... How much?Grateful for informationCheers
Two years ago I visited my local AD and ordered a 5711. They stated a wait time of 9-12 months. 5 months later and I received my first Nautilus:Being the greedy so and so that I am I went back last Dec to put my name down for a 5712. Bearing in mind the market has sky rocketed, 5 year waiting lists and many ADs not even entertaining the idea of getting a SS Nautilus I was surprised when my AD said 6-12 months. Well they've done it again and with just a 6 month wait! And thy gave me a very nice gift to go along with it:And finally a picture of the awesome twosome:
