Audemars Piguet F61726 wrist watches news:
Zenith watches really get around - especially on the wrist of Johan Ernst Nilson. A Zenith brand ambassador, Nilson is a modern day explorer who has been going on "expeditions" for about 20 years. Now in his early 40s, Nilson is in the middle of a serious journey called the Pole2Pole adventure. The trip is taking Johan from the North Pole all the way to the South Pole, and will be done mostly via kayak and bicycle.Nilson travels for personal and physical exploration. His trips teach himself and others about personal empowerment and the power of a "can do" attitude. Nilson has authored books on the subject as well as participated as a motivational lecturer. His heart is always in the road pushing himself further and trying to see new places. Originally from Sweden, Nilson speaks fondly of his venturing with a credible, weathered look.I sat down with Nilson to discuss the Pole2Pole trip, his trials and tribulations, as well as what it is like to do what he does. Now that we have an official home it's time to decorate the place. I'm sure you've all seen these before, but here are my 3 from the 60's.Ultra-Chron caliber 431Conquest caliber 291Diamond Dynasty caliber 370
I recently got into Longines watches. The other day I came across a watch I inherited that was my grandfather's only yo be happily suprised it was a Longines. The watch is very old, my estimate is about 70 years old. I've attempted to discover the model of the watch, but my research has turned up fruitless. Perhaps someone here can help me. The watch is 14K gold, with a square case. The dial appears to be a silver color with four diamonds at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 markers. The other markers are arrow-looking lines. Surrounding the markers are a set of approximately 6-8 lines running parallel to the case. The Longines logo is below 12 o'clock, and the name "LONGINES" is written below the logo. There are only hour and minute hands in silver. If this does not help determine the model and history of the watch, I'd be happy to send in a picture. Please let me know if you can help me.
I know, I know this is a Rolex forum, but what do you chaps make of this? I just found it and have been looking for it for ages! It was bought in the 1980s, this is all I know. It was my dad's. The strap isn't original as the original has broken (I'll just have to find it ). I think it's a beauty! Any other info at all would be greatly appreciated!
Hi guys, I was at my AD yesterday and they have both the 5167a and 5164a for sale. If anyone is looking for them, PM me and I'll send you their info.
