Bought new longines, but with defect.......
I bought an L4.274.4.52.6 as a gift to my wife in Hongkong 5 days ago, but i didn't find the defect of the "second hand" until I came back to Suzhou(mainland China). The "second hand" was a little curved......002.jpg001.jpgThe retailer told me to fly to Hongkong and they will repair it for me......Obivously I cannot accept repairing, but replacement of an new one. I contacted with the customer service in Shanghai as well as in Swiss, but their efficiency is very low......They told me to send the watch to their authorized service center, and there happened to be one locally, but they cannot help on this. They told me I had to send it to Shanghai and then the watch will be inspected. I did as they required, but I am afraid when they can really begin the process.I am waiting for the result.

To Hell and Back Watch?
I've got this thing for tactical equipment: Firearms, Knives, Lighting Technologies, etcI'm a man with many vices. So naturally one type of watch I like is a good, simple yet durable and rugged watch. I'm really liking "traser" watches at the moment and plan on picking one up soon. They seem to be along the same lines as the Reactor Trident which proved it's worth in Iraq after surviving an explosion and still functioning. So my question is this: If you had to go through hell and back, what watch would you strap to your wrist before heading in?

Just curious what the history behind the time piece is and if it's a good purchase. I know nothing about the brand but love the watch and found it for a cheap price of 11k!

Good day all, I never considered Panerai watches before, nothing from their line captured my heart. I am a hard core rolex and patek fan. Yesterday I passed by Panerai boutique and thought why not go and check the watches. And he showed it to me The PAM 739 due with open case back and skeleton movement and micro rotor. Love at first sight. That grey sunburst dial with gold markers and hands simply amazing. I was too close to buying it but thought I would take my time a bit so that I don't make impulse decision. For me the advantages of the watch are:1- slim profile 2-Beautiful dial 3- amazing movement with micro rotor 4- polished case look very classy despite being finger print magnet Disadvantages :1- pathetic water resistance in Panerai standards, 30 m only2- need continuous cleaning as finger prints make it look dirty (see below photos)3- very very big. 45 mm, on my 7 wrist it felt huge as compared to my hulk4- no complications at all.
