Audemars Piguet 26207IO.OO.A002CA.01 wrist watches news:
Open to invited guests only.
Mark Kelly probably started to get annoyed as I shot questions at him while we were stuck in the backseat of a van. I've learned the hard way that not everyone wants to talk about work all the time. He was a good sport though, and even agreed to speak with me again. How do you stop asking questions to an astronaut? A famous one at that. Interesting trivia: Mark not only has an identical brother, but his twin, Scott, is also an astronaut. The good news in light of my pestering fanboy questions is that Mr. Kelly is a watch guy. Perhaps not in the way many of us are (with our intimate awareness of many brands and models), but he is the type of guy many of the watches we like are said to be designed for. For Mark, watches are tools. Essential tools, but also ones that can look good while doing their job.Mark Kelly has a few points of fame. In the last few years he has been in the news because of his wife, Congresswoman Representative Gabby Giffords. A rather remarkable lady, Giffords bravel
Seeing as this forum has some of our most seasoned watch veterans, I'm asking for a little assistance with this thread:74.50.21.220/~watch18/forums/...704#post121704The Rolex forum can be intimidating to neophytes. This forum has some great members, and is one of the friendliest of all the Rolex sites. I'd like to make it easier for newbies to feel a bit more comfortable and contribute. Now, I understand and fully expect some of you comedians will inject your sense of humor into it so fire away! The official edit will take a while. There's always one more to add that we forget. Thanks!
would cause a bracelet to stretch more? Wearing it rather snug, or wearing it rather loose? Or would one way or another have little or no effect.Have a great weekend! CD.
I've always loved the design of both the 39mm and 41mm ROC. I think they're amazing looking watches. This is not in any way me trying to bash the watch. It's more of a try to justify a purchase. Here in Sweden it's about $ 25k. So what do I pay for? 25k, that's a fairly large amount of money. I know it can't be the movement. Because its a F.Piguet (Swatch). I know its a good movement. But its also used in omegas that cost 1/5 of the AP (from what i know) Sure it's a very nicely finished watch. But 25K?If the ROC had one of those amazing AP movements with a display to look at it through, together with that fantastic bracelet and case finish I would understand the price. So what do I pay for. Just finish and a AP logo? Sent from my iPhone 6 using Tapatalk
