Audemars Piguet 26378IO.OO.A001KE.01 wrist watches news:
Inside of the case of 42 mm wide steel is part Deprez Swiss made automatic movement caliber time 14400 jumping. The dial does not use a large part of the face, but overall the dial has an attractive appearance. I am pleased Baume & Mercier has chosen to use an automatic movement for this timepiece. You can view the movement of the back of the watch through the Sapphire.
....well I actually had it being held in the store for last 3+ weeks as I was verybusy with work and traveling half way around the world for the last two weeks.I had a plan to pick it up 2 weeks for now for my B-day, but because Rolexdecided to jack the prices overnight, my friendly AD called and suggested to'finish the deal' before the new price goes into effect. As they say: "never say never"......but I'll tell ya'....something major wouldhave to happen that I would buy another NEW Rolex at AD for personal use. This could be a late last minute news for someone, but he had a new GMT II-C in stock that he was tempting me with $6985 (15% off new price of $7K)!! Not sure if he will honor this deal tomorrow (I think he should)....but if you are interested, send me a PM ASAP on THU morning.Unfortunately, I did not take the LV home with me as I had it shipped to myout of state address.....but I will have pictures coming soon.(Gee, I can't believe I paid $3850 for this watch back in NO
Today I stopped at my watchmakers and had a look at what he had. He had some nice vintage automatics, some German and some Swiss. And he was selling them for $25 a piece. I immediately pulled out my wallet and realized i had no cash lol. My heart sank, the one I was looking at was clean and nice (can't remember the brand) and ran great and was really great looking. Some of You guys must know the felling sometimes. Well, there was no way I could afford it unless $25 popped into my wallet so I went home and day dreamed about it for a bit then looked at my watches. And thought to my self "I am really lucky to have what I have, especially at 18) and I don't NEED another watch. I am happy with what I own. I have all my bases covered. My invicta is my workhorse, my stellaris is casual/dress, my Waltham is dress, and my Bulova is super dress lol. Plus with one Japanese electric, one japanese auto, one Swiss auto, one Swiss manual wind, and one Swiss quartz, I am all set for now....at least u
Looking to add another AP to the 44mm 26400IO (titanium with ceramic bezel) I already have. Want something flexible for everyday wear. Considering either the newer ROC 26331 (most likely black face as I was underwhelmed with the white when trying it on) or...maybe go back in time to something more old school like the 26170 Panda. I want something on bracelet and do like the newer 26331 line. The bracelet is divine and I think it makes a great daily, however it may be a little too similar in design to the 44 chrono I already have. There is something about the older 42 that speaks to me. Years ago the Panda was the first AP I've ever owned and I've always loved it's flexibility (bracelet, strap, etc...), just not sure if it's a little dated in comparison.Thoughts and advice are always appreciated ! TIA
Just wanted to share my Pam 312 with the OEM Red Strap. Looks good for special occasions if dressed accordingly IMO, ENJOY.
