More Omega Problems
I haven't posted on here for ages, mainly as I've been working all over the world.My Omega Planet Ocean LE developed a problem after less than a year of owning it, I jumped into a swimming pool and it leaked.It was sent back to Omega and they kept it for just under 6 months, then returned it to me repaired.A few months later I noticed condensation inside the screen, so I unscrewed the crown and left it to dry, which seemed to work.Fast forward until just two months outside of the two year warranty.I was working in the Caribbean, noticed it wasn't keeping great time and tried to adjust it...but the crown and stem had rusted and I couldn't alter the time.Now fair enough I like to dive and usually I'm in the ocean most days but isn't it supposed to be a dive watch?To cut a long story short Omega have had it now for 3 months and I was just informed I have to pay the repair bill myself.I own two Omegas and was already planning a third but my money will now go to IWC or Rolex.
