Jacob & Co. JC-Q3RG wrist watches news:
This is a watch that I have wanted for a long time. These are almost never available from independent sellers, and it is a rare luxury to see one offered at less than retail. This is the Marcello C. Senatore watch, that I have mentioned before. This timepiece has a design intentionally reminiscent of the Rolex Daytona. It isn't a clone, it just uses some of the same design principles, and that is OK. The 42.5mm wide watch has a 22mm wide bracelet making it a good size, and actually a bit bigger than the Daytona.I really like how German Marcello C. is able to modify the automatic Valjoux 7750 movement to give it a tri-compax layout. This is more attractive that the 7750's standard layout. The dial hands and main hands are strong looking and legible. Legible faceted hour markers look great, while the subdial design hearkens the Daytona perfectly. The bracelet is very different on the Marcello C. Senatore. It has a very fashionable look, which is an interesting contrast from the functional
My local AD in the News ...~ tinyurl/6exzlqI remember talking to the AD a week after it all kicked off apart from the trauma caused to the staff ...he told me how the Police had impounded the ¡ê30,000 (approx. USD$52000) Rolex watches as evidence hopefully he's got them back now PS: Do watch the Video to the end ...
Hello fellow collectors,I had never thought that there will be a day for me to post and seek advice for wise choice...Im trying to get myself a new watch for my birthday soon and recently came across 2 watches which drive me crazy. 1. PATEK Gondolo 5124g, which I love the shape and versatality. Especially the curve shape makes it extra special comparing to most of other similar shaped. This watch is simple, well to go with any occasion in my eyes. 2. Patek Annual Calender 5205g, I love the lugs' detailing, absolute art piece. This is one absolute stunning watch with great combination yet so clean and simple. I will say this watch goes so well wth suit or semi formal attire. The question is, I see less love for the gondolo 5124g in forums or instagram. Is is the reason of the "blood-line" issue or because of the simple mechanism and people tend to lean toward complication mechanism? I love both watches, so deeply wish i can get both but ofcoz i cant. To my concern with 5205g, Im a
The thread at the American forum posted by RJ007 about his incoming Benrus spurred me to post some pics of a few expansion bands with watch brand logos or names. Longines and Wittnauer, the W is the correct band for the Electro-Chron, and the Longines (the model name is Nautilus) for a single-crown diver.I've had this style with a JL Jaeger LeCoultre logo, too, and was told it came on a Memovox. All made by JB Champion.Benrus yellow gold-filled in box. While the box states "Made by the Makers of Famous Benrus Watches", it appears to be manufactured by Hadley for Benrus.Benrus yellow gold-filled, package marked "A Product of the Benrus Watch Co." and appears to be a Classique for Benrus. The model name is Brittanic.
