- This watch is great. I have an IQ of 159 and this watch still amazes me every single day. A great training tool to show you where your at and how hard you need to bring it to get to where you are going.

Audemars Piguet 26207IO.OO.A002CA.01 wrist watches news:
Klaus Ulbrich of Temption watches in Germany is moving on up, Stuttgart Style. This lovely little watch maker's new villa could be right out of Santa Monica, CA circa 1987. New digs for Temption likely mean more employees, higher production, and more watches, all good things from a company that consistently keeps providing up good looking, quality watches at prices which don't make me balk, given what you get. Lets take a little tour of the new space where you can go see their in-house show room, and view watch makers hard at work on the wonderful watches. The outside of the manufacture look like a California day spa (maybe gym, or perhaps real estate office) from the late eighties. Visitors will be happy to know that satellite TV is standard, either for the watch makers or for your viewing pleasure while Klaus himself polishes your new Temption watch to a glowing finish. Pinkish stucco and lots of glass complete the theme of "high-end, high quality German watch" right? Curiously enough
Hi folks! Please see pics below.I found this watch in a drawer at my parents house. They think it is from my Great Uncle. I am thinking this is post WWII probably in the 50's. It is 7 jewel and the case appears to be chromed (see it peeling in the pics).Just interested in identifying from a sentimental standpoint. It is kind of beat up and it doesn't want to run. I jiggle it and the movement works so it would probably just need a cleaning to get going again. Thanks for the assist!
Can someone forward me a cross reference chart for ETA movements that were used in Croton/Nivada watches from the 40's-50's. For instance, a Croton E3AE is a ETA 1216 17 Jewel, and a Croton E3SE is an ETA 1256 17 jewel. I'm trying to cross reference a Croton E3A3 to an ETA. Take a look at my photo below, that is the movement I'm trying to replace. What I really need is a click spring, I thought it might be easier to just get a new movement and have the one for parts. I am thinking about picking up my first AP. I have long been a Panerai Collector and am thinking about venturing into the world of AP. I thought I wanted a ROO at first, but after looking at a bunch, I have decided that I like the clean lines of the normal Royal Oak or RO chrono. I understand that the Chrono does not have an in house movement, and I can live with that since I am used to the Older Panerai's having the same thing. I am a bit torn between the 41mm black dial Royal Oak and the same black dial Chrono. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks in Advance.Jordan
