In a recent interview with Hublot's CEO Jean Claude Biver he mentioned to me how Hubot will put a lot of focus into Asia (namely China) in 2012. Boy, he wasn't kidding - and I expect a full of series of spectacle style events to ensue in the next few years that only Hublot knows how to put on. Hublot hasn't ignored China up to know. Starting in 2010 they chose martial arts actor Jet Li as a brand ambassador, and have had other events in the region.When Hublot puts their sights on something they do aim and fire with the biggest bullet they have. Pierre DeRoche Split Rock Dare Watch Collection
This watch is a self-admitted combination of luxury watch making and the "art" of graffiti from watch maker Pierre DeRoche. What is charming is that the Swiss watch maker sought out a Swiss based graffiti artist - who'd a thought right? The artist they worked with is Sigi ¡°Dare¡± von Koeding, who takes graffiti art and makes it into fine art. I like his work, but think that it might be hard for lots of people to take it too seriously depending on the role that graffiti has played in their life. I for one being born and raised in Los Angeles have a perception that while graffiti is a cool art form, it has a strong association with vandalism - which is true when you think about how it all started. I'm in a pickle - need input
I've got a two liner Pelagos and a tried and true Omega 2254.50.Part of me wants a 14060M as I've always fancied one, but man the market has become wild on these over the past couple of years. I guess my question is this: Would you rather own a Pelagos and 2254 or move both to pick up a 14060M? It's the only logical means of picking up a 14060M as I do have other hobbies that require equal capital.
