The world’s most expensive watch ever sold at auction retained that lofty title at a Sotheby¡¯s auction on November 11, which coincided with the 175th anniversary celebration of its maker, Patek Philippe. The so-called Henry Graves Supercomplication, a pocketwatch made by Patek Philippe in 1933, is the most famous watch in the world and has the distinction of being the most complicated watch ever made completely by human hands. Its reappearance on the auction block, 15 years after it became the most expensive watch ever sold at auction, came in the same year that Patek Philippe commemorates 175 years of making watches. WWII Hamilton Military Watch ? ? ?
Hey guys!I bought this Hamilton yesterday at the NAWCC convention in Kansas City (along with about 40 other watches) but I did not really know that much about it but the dial looked very nice and the case is in very good condition as well. The dial looks like some sort of avaitor's symbol due to the wings. On the case back it reads: ORD. DEPT, U.S.A., OD-52160. My WWII military symbol knowledge is rather week but I am pretty sure that the OD stands for 15-17 jewel wrist watches. Anybody know what this watch is called or what the dial means? Thanks!

Timex T3B831 - Thoughts?
Morning all,Yesterday after work I was cruising around the shops, looking for possibly a new timepiece....I ended up going back to the place I bought my Eco-Drive at a few weeks ago, and the salesperson showed me a photo of a watch he could order for me if I chose to do so.It's definitely different...18k rose gold on the bezel and crown. The world clock is a nice idea too, I wouldn't use it that often though. Downside: the price (he can give it to me for $595 CAD tax-in...and because it's not in stock, I would have to pay a 50% deposit that is non-refundable :-/) and I'm worried I may not like it when I see it lol...Anyone have any experience with these Timex World clock watches?Any info is much appreciated!Thanks,
