Question about Breitling Gifts
I recently bought a Breitling Emergency on the internet. I contacted Breitling signed the forms and registered it under my name. My question is, will Breitling still mail me gifts as well? Or only people that buy them from AD's get the gifts? I hope im still considered "special" even though I didnt pay retail. Also do you get better gifts as you add more watches? Im thinking of getting the Avenger Seawolf next. I love that watch..Here are a couple shot of my Emergency. Sorry I got like a .001MP cameraNEXT ON THE LIST:

Vintage Watch Restoration
When you get an old piece, do you restore or keep it as is?I'm of the restoration school of thought - since I don't want to wear beat up or worn watches. Yeah, say what you will about history, scratches and stuff. But that's why they invented Botox.I have restored my Tudors, my 1960 Omega Seamaster and my 1946 Concord (twice). I doubt I'd ever recoup the cost of the restorations if I sold (although Tudor prices have outpaced the cost of my watches and restorations) - but that's not the point.It's fun bringing back watches to the glory they deserve.What's your take on this?

help needed please for a new member on identifiying a pocket watch
hi to all , i am new to the forum and would be gratefull if anybody can give me info on a pocket watch that i have had sat in my draw for years i had it from my grandfather who had it from his again the usual story. from what i can see on it it is engraved with 17 jewels brockton mass a serial number of 1129456 and headed with what looks to say herman s hewett & co this engraved to the movement to the outer gold casing that is engraved with warranted cresent 25years 2098098 . the watch is not working and was wondering if it would be worth taking in for repair .any help would be gratefully received thanks pete
