TAG Heuer CAS2150.FC6291 wrist watches news:
For the 60th Anniversary of the Queen¡¯s coronation this year, Meistersinger will release a limited edition single hand watch based on the clock at Westminster Abbey in London. Now before I carry on, I believe that I need to make some clarifications for you, our international audience.Say the words ¡°London¡± and ¡°Clock¡± and what comes to mind to most people is surely Big Ben. That is the name used by many people to describe the most famous and very well photographed clock tower in London. Though "Big Ben" is actually the bell inside of the tower. Any movie that wants to establish location in the UK will almost always use Big Ben in the background. In fact, if you have been to London, this will probably be on your list of places to visit. This works much the same say, as if you were to go to Paris, with the Eiffel Tower, or New York, with the Statue of Liberty. So, this new Meistersinger watch that is based on a clock in London is not based on Big Ben. Instead, the?basis for the design of t
Ok, So browsing the new Patek forum (some fantastic looking models by the way! ), and window-looking at several other "high-end' brands such as JLC, Breguet, AP & the type - it got me thinking. What pulls you to a particular model at that point? For the time being, let's take the economic factor out. Let's be honest, if you're looking to spend $30K plus on a watch, you're probably not too worried about a few grand here or there. So for the moment, let's assume it's all the same price & lo & behold, you just happen to have a check in your pocket for that amount - payable to any watch manufacture. So, the question is, is it purely aesthetics at this point? Does brand history, decorated movements, complications etc. matter? A look that your great-grand children can wear when it's time to pass it down (read "timeless classic" here)? Type of gold or platinum matter? At that point, what would be your #1 or #2 item you're looking for? Let me know.. I honestly don't know w
Heloo AP-ersI am really confusing now, please advise which one do you guys choose.AP 44 mm FC or RM 10?Thankss,Michael
Long time lurker here. Had my PAM372 for a long time already. It came with the distressed strap and calf. First thing I did was buy the PAM422 assolumente strap. It was my favorite for a long, long time. That and the OEM panerai rubber strap when going near water. I ended up getting a new assolumente strap when the old one snapped with only 2 years of near daily usage. That's when the boutique showed me a new one they had. This is my new favorite. It's the strap that comes on the PAM605I love the color of this. Here's the replacement Asso that I don't even wear anymore. SadThis is the old one before it snapped, maybe that's why it snapped lol.I love straps! Please excuse some of the tacky photos. I feel ashamed. Same reason why I don't take photos of my watch in public anymore lol.
Is it generally safe to purchase in gray market stores in Hong Kong such as in TST, Kowloon and Kwong Wah St.?Can I be assured that a rolex that I will be purchasing new or used will be 100% authentic?
