Baume & Mercier MOA10011 wrist watches news:
Please see the reader review of the LUM-TEC B15 watch that Beau was fortunate enough to win last month. Being a talented photographer, Beau provided each of these beautiful images of the actual watch:"What can one say about the Lum-Tec Combat B15 that is not being said by those that are fortunate enough to own one? Possibly, that there are a couple unexpected perks that are not apparent from just the pictures seen on the web.The first thing that is very obvious, is the visual depth of carbon fiber that comprises the face. As someone who has a great love for carbon fiber, and who has items comprised wholly from it, I can say it is the absolute best that I have seen on a watch and 'moves' with the light, as good carbon fiber should. Secondly, the pushers of the chronograph feel different than your average pushers. When first depressed, it gives the characteristic 'click' that you expect when starting the function, however, each additional push of the same pusher does not. The motion is s

This is too incredible not to share:cgi.ebay/14K-Gold-Longine...#ht_1881wt_941cgi.ebay/Rare-Unique-Fanc...4#ht_787wt_941Two of the most crazy BIN prices I've seen, from the same seller who is no novice. He's been a little overpriced on some items before (I remember a couple Omega Pie Pans he had last year) but the above listings are highway robbery. And nothing other than a single mediocre picture in each listing! More silliness: cgi.ebay/ULTRA-RARE-MENS-...ht_4219wt_1167By this seller's logic you can take any generic watch and redial it so it becomes "Ultra Rare"! Oooooh, let me fund my Paypal account quick so I can snag that.....not! Now this one looks like the real deal:cgi.ebay/VINTAGE-LONGINES...ht_1518wt_1167Another of my "favorite" case style :cgi.ebay/Beautiful-14K-Go...ht_3062wt_1167Funky!:cgi.ebay/Vintage-17J-LONG...#ht_500wt_1182Here's a decent price (not fantastic, just a little high) on a very nice Admiral 5 star. What a pity that it's engraved on the back!:c
I found a Cricket in my sock drawer!!I had it there for years and thought it was just an old piece of junkThen after coming here and getting interested in mechanical watches. I don't know the history other than my grand father was into fine watches and his Patek was sold to cover the costs of his estate settlement. Sooooo maybe I got it from him in a box of his garage junk I have all over.Apparently a Vulcan Cricket was given to all of the US Presidents and reportedly, John F. Kennedy was the only one who wore his.I Googled it and found some that sold to close to $1000. What a prize! (and it works and keeps time)
