If you visit the WTF Sales Forum, you may know that over the past several months, I have been thinning out my herd of Invicta watches that I accumulated when I was the admin in the Original Invicta Forum. Now that I am sitting on a chunk of change, I would like some advice as to what Hamilton to add to my collection. Basel 2008 releases? Soon to be off catalog bargains? Vintage? Please advise and defend your recommendations. . . pleeeeese!
I have just read about a reissue of a vintage Longine watch, the Silver Arrow. The Longines Silver Arrow was made for a short time in 1955. Longines has recently announced a reissue model. The new Silver Arrow is 38mm without the crown, plated in silver, features "mini" markers, and uses an ETA 2892 movement. It will retail for $1500.This is a really nice looking watch! It looks very classy and elegany. It has certainly got my attention and is now on my radar to have a look at when it becomes available. I haven't seen any details of when that will be, but soon, I hope!!Dennis, what do you know about the original 1955 version?
Having recently purchased a black faced, black and polished braceleted watch, and lurking here, the Rolex Daytona really caught my eye. (and I've developed a dislike toward Rolex (being too pedestrian) except that Daytona) Being a newb, with terrible preconceived notions of watches and their tier that is quickly getting tossed out the window...would you mind sharing your images of your white faced watches. Thanks in advanced
I stopped by one of Breitling's stores last week and the sales staff told me that Chrono Evolution has been discontinued and replaced by Calibre 13.What is the difference between them?Thank you for your comments!!
