Cartier w3140007 wrist watches news:
Along with the vintage-inspired worldtimer, Tissot released an update of their popular Powermatic line at this year's Basel World. The new Powermatic 80 Chronometer is an extremely straightforward watch with an 80 hour power reserve and chronometer certified movement, giving you a lot of timekeeping power for your money. The handsome package is an added bonus and here's a hands-on look at this high-value watch from Tissot. 2 OF 10 80 Hour Power Reserve and COSC Chronometer Certification COSC-certification is nothing new for Tissot. A few months ago we gave you an in-depth review of their Le Locle Chronometre, winner of the 2012 Concours International de Chronometrie timing competition (spoiler alert, we liked it). The movement inside this Powermatic 80 Chronometer is a COSC-certified ETA C07.111, which is essentially an ETA 2824 with a beefed up 80-hour power reserve, lower friction materials, and a balance beating at 3Hz instead of 4Hz. This is the first of two threads I’m going to post regarding a topic I want to learn more about.I guess there are two schools of thought regarding the disposition of antiques, in this case, antique or vintage watches: (1) a vintage watch should be maintained only to the level necessary that it is not completely destroyed and remains as an artifact and (2) a vintage watch should be maintained at all times in First Class, Grade A1 condition. Take the example I’ve illustrated below. The watch on the left is in its original state with all original components; however, it is not what I would call a functional device. The watch on the right is in excellent First Class, Grade A1 condition keeping perfect time and its appearance is stunning by comparison despite the fact it is probably twice as old as the first watch. BTW, the one on the right is my baby and I have all the original receipts, repair records, and maintenance records that have anything to do with this watch. Its
Hello everyone,I hope I posted this in the right section, and if it's not can a Mod please move it? I had a watch a I loved stolen a couple years ago, and for the life of me I can't remember what it was. I'd like to get another one if I can find out what it is. Here's a picture I've got with it (best one I have), but it's out of focus so I'm hoping someone here recognizes it. I remember it had a blue backlight, and glow-in-the-dark hour markers and squiggles on the face. I think the words say "Timex", "Military", and "Indiglo", but I could be wrong. Note: The wristband is not original, it's a timex one I bought.Any help from you guys would be greatly appreciated, I would love to get another one.
Not everything in life is black and white...
Good afternoon everyone, I'm new to the rolex forums and am in the process of purchasing a new model Explorer 2. Would anyone have or know a business in the Austin Texas area that could authenticate this watch for me?
