I'm getting ready to buy my 1st Seamaster & wanted an opinion on prices. How much would an excellent condition 2 yr. old 2264.50 (Pro quartz) purchased online (gray market) but w/authenticity certification, serial number, original box and all paper work would be worth?Thank you.

Hi im a relitive newbie at this and am hoping that someone out ther can help me date my 8110 divers watch Serial no. is 4N0242, A mate of mine gave me this watch about 15 years ago when he upgraded it for a newer model, ive since used and abused it, scratching the crystal to death while cave diving, those rocks can be extremly sharp. Ive broken the original rubber strap, and it now has a casio one fitted, Ive had it repaired twice, once when i dropped it and it stopped and again when i was wearing it while using a pnumatic breaker, which shook it to bits. it the sat in a cupboard for a few years and I was going to bin the poor old thing, untill i realised it might be worth something after looking on the net.Id like to put a stainless braclett on it and use it more as a dress watch, as im now too large to go squeezing through tight gaps in caves, any suggestions?Ivor

Went to UPS today...
...and picked up the 3mm Khaki Automatic Field Chrono with a brown face and the Jazzmaster Automatic Tonneau. I am very relieved about the size of the 38mm Khaki - I think it is just the right size for my wrist. I love the color of the dial of the Khaki, and the size is just right for my wrist. I love the rose gold markers on the Jazzmaster, as well as the shape and the date being at 4:00 instead of 3:00.Now I just have 3 vintage watches and a watch case on the way, and hopefully I'm done spending money for a while! How long would you wait?
Members,My AD told me they may (no guarantee) be able to get me an application piece I applied for almost a year ago. They asked for a deposit equal to the full price of the piece. I wired them the money a month ago. I just spoke to them the other day and they have no update from Patek. I'm wondering if they are just wasting my time? Thoughts? How long would you be willing to wait after making a full deposit?
