Patek Philippe 2509 wrist watches news:
Audemars Piguet has been making ultra-thin tourbillons for a while now. Somewhat similar to the Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin Openworked that we talked about earlier (see here) is the newly released Royal Oak Tourbillon Extra-Thin, for the first time seen in platinum. Originally released in 2012 at SIHH, this elegant and understated design is favored by vintage and modern watch lovers alike (and the CEO of Audemars Piguet, François Bennahmias). And now, it's available in platinum for the first time. 1 OF 2 Originally released in pink gold and stainless steel, the newest version is available exclusively in platinum. Everything here is the same with the exception of the case material and dial color, which is now a beautiful smoked grey. The watch continues to use the caliber 2924 manual-winding movement, which remains a very slim tourbillon movement and allows for the watch to wear very comfortably. 2 OF 2 This watch continues to be one of the coo
It's time to show'em if you got'em. Any era, any condition - let's see those Bennies!
Hey everyone,Here she is!! My EL WTF watch.. Just out of the box, delivered minutes ago!!!The shipping box & outer watch box...The watch in the box.. Untouched so far..A few front shot.. Nice dial!! A few back shots of the case-back & buckleAnd of course, a wrist shot...First impressions are very nice. The dial is absolutely gorgeous. And I love the little touch of color the blue second hand adds. Over all I give it 2 thumbs up. If I was to pick something I'd change, there would be 2 things. 1) the crown is hard to turn due to the polished surface. This is a toss up. On one hand the polished crown looks really nice. On the other hand, it's very hard to turn with large hands as there's no leverage. But, I'm not 100% sure I'd want it changed. And 2 it really needs a deployant clasp. I understand & respect the reason to keep a dress watch dressy with the buckle, but a EL signed deployant option would have been nice. That said, neither of those 2 things are major.
Question: Do you get a welcome letter from Patek every time you register a new watch? I got one for the first two, but not for the third and I am just wondering if this is unusual.
