SIHH is a bit like the automobile traffic in Italy. It is crowded and there is only the semblance of organization. Despite a series of reasons why you might thing the entire system should not work, it does. The mania of a trade show convention is ironically melded with the attempt at having a high society event. The contradictions of the show shadow the very industry it serves - and somehow we love it for that. By the way, a shout out to IWC for their incredibly intricate booth design. No detail was spared to make their booth look like a bona-fide Hollywood set on board an aircraft carrier complete with a half jet, fog machines, uniforms, and of course pilot watches.Leaving the 2012 show I have a number of things to report. The most important thing to remember is that 2012 does not represent the plans of 2011. Watch products generally take about three years to plan and develop. Deployant buckle size for PAM049?
Hi All, I am looking for a spare deployant buckle for my wife's PAM049 and just want to double check if it's 40mm or not. I think it is but better safe than sorry. I found one on Panatime for $34.99, I think that's a pretty good deal unless it's totally crappy. Thanks all.

From 5712 to 5711?
I am curious If you or anyone you know has ever regretted going for a 5712 - and then 'downsized' to a 5711? Too much hassle setting the moonphase? not as waterproof, etc.I am asking since I am having trouble deciding between the 2, as probably many people before me..Thanks, MSent from my Nokia 925 using Tapatalk

disappointed whit a new speedy pro...
Hi this is my first thread on this fantastic forum!just come back on 10/07 from my AD here in Roma whit my new speedy 3570.50 moonwatch at home,and my NEW speedy suffer for stuttering issue whit the chrono second hande back to the AD and tryed another two speedy one 3573.50 and another 3570.50 again jerky-stutter movement at the chrono second hand?my question is your speedy chrono second hand have a smooth sweeping movement? is normal for the caliber 1861 this issue or the AD have a unlucky stock of watch?please let me know from your experience whit your chrono on your moonwatchP.S.: all the watch are NEW serial 777..... and in stock from 2 or 3 days at the AD
