Ball CM1030D-L1J-WH wrist watches news:
The HODINKEE Collectors Summit is really taking shape. Not only will we have the likes of Aurel Bacs, Jason Singer, John Reardon, and Philippe Dufour in the house for completely candid, behind the scenes conversation with you, but we are thrilled to announce a new addition the schedule. And it's a big one. Like, to the tune of $24,000,000. Daryn Schnipper is the international chairman of the Sotheby's watch department. She is the woman responsible for selling the most expensive, most important watch on the planet, twice. Yes, Daryn is the woman who first set the record at $11 million dollars for the Henry Graves Supercomplication – one we thought would stand for all eternity – only to break it this past November by selling the very same watch for over $24 million. She'll be at the 2015 HODINKEE Collectors Summit to tell you what it was like first discovering this horological giant and then going through the process of researching it, understanding
I had the day off yesterday and decided to visit a Breitling AD in the neighbouring town. I`ve had my eye on Breitling for quite a long time, but the sizes of the watches has sent me and my puny wrists off in shame everytime I came close to one, But this time I was set on trying one on for size. They had quite a good selection, but one in special caught my eye. A Nos Superocean. I recognised it immidiatly cause of the all lumed numbers, and being the lumeaddict that I am, I tryed it on. To my amazment it fitted really well! I was so shocked that without thinking I blurted out "I`ll take it!" With no thought to my finances I am now the very happy owner of my first Breitling! I love the sheer weight of it, it`s absolutely massive! But somehow it`s really well balanced and doesen`t slip around on my wrist at all! It`s my first watch with AR coating, and I am just blown away how it makes the dial pop! It`s like there`s no sapphire there at all! Well, enough chitchat. Here`s some picturesT
New to this forum! I fell in love with the MG Rasmus, and was excited to find a Muhle Glashutte forum! I was wondering if anyone here has had a Rasmus, how they like(d) it, and if anyone knows why there are two model #'s for what seems to be the same Rasmus??M1-28-10 (is this an older/different version) - and when did it change to M1-28-13kb??Thanks for any help...
About two years ago I tried to order a particular Tissot. At the time I was in the infancy of my watch collecting days. It was a cream Tissot V8 that was on sale for $210ish I believe. Day later I was told "out of stock".ever since then I've been hunting on an equally good deal on the cream version but to no avail...until todaywhile surfing eBayI came across a cream V8a store demo but listed in "as new" condition and guaranteed to work from a guy with 100% positive feedback. This company sells store demo's and returns and rates his watches on an A,B,C grading scale, this one came in at A and included original boxes and books. The BIN price was $139.I couldn't believe it and seeing that recently a used one go for $150 plusI snapped it asap! I cannot believe itI've wanted this watch for so longit'll make money tight for a bitbut you know whatI don't care
Ok, I'm new to this an contemplating making the jump into the speedmaster world. I cant, for the life of me, tell the difference in big value between these two watches. Can anyone add some thoughts?.ebay/itm/Vintage-Omeg...item5d53e033c9vs. .ebay/itm/1965-OMEGA-S...item234a6358cc
