- Beautful pave work. Poor watch-ability. Can't really see the time in bright light. Can see the time in a not-so-bright room. I will bably keep it because of the pave work, but will depend upon my cell clock fo the time!

- This watch is even pretteir than it appears online. It is a solid piece of jewelry. Being a cuff design, it fits even a larger sized wrist. I gave it as a gift, and the recipient assumed I paid quite a bit for it.

Patek Philippe 5205G-010 wrist watches news:
Help me out with this one, folks...I was in a store in the mall the other day that's an AD for several big name brands, and I was chatting with a buddy of mine who works there. We talked Rolex, IWC, and then Omega came up, and we were talking about the history of Omega with respects to the space program. I mentioned that I remember there being an article in Watchtime awhile back about watches in space and it had some good pictures, one of them showing a Pepsi GMT on someones wrist. My buddy replied that since Rolex was an automatic watch, it wouldn't work in space, as opposed to the manual wind Omega, which would. So now I'm trying to wrap my brain around the physics of this. I was thinking to myself, I can understand that in space, wrist time alone wouldn't be enough to keep a Rolex running, but if you were to treat a Rolex as a manual wind, if you will, and wind it up every couple days, wouldn't it work okay in space, just as an Omega Speedmaster would? Or is there something th
hey guys, im new hear.about to buy new watchi have 2 choices from Tag formula 1 and Edox class-1i know it is quarts vs auto.. but i like bothtag has more name value and edox is auto..both watch has almost same price.what do you guys recommend?ed80078357rnnir2.jpgWAH1010-BA0854_FXA.jpg
Hard to beat PO Lume.
Rolex so far has not increased prices in the US. One can buy any watch at the price it was last year and the year before from an AD (not from a GD). All you have to do is buy from the AD who doesn't have the model which is desired but can supply it if multiple watches are purchased or can supply a PM version of the watch but not the SS standard. The ADs may make the same percentage but make a greater total profit on each watch sold or each sale. The manufacturer realizes a higher profit on each watch it sells (PM vs SS). But no price increase. Yup. I'm buying two tone GMT at a considerably higher price than the Red and Blue staple because in this case I like the watch but also because in this case there will never be an available version of the SS model for me. It is a price increase on the order of $5000. QED.
Newbie here, sorry....maybe covered already ad nauseum?...sorry. That over, is it my imagination, or are the SS/black submariners, non-ceramic, appreciating recently ??
