Audemars Piguet 25820ST wrist watches news:
To avoid confusion with the DSSD, perhaps the subject line should read, "Images of my new SD".Per my other recent post, here's some quick shots of the newest member of the collection, K serial Sea Dweller. I just realized I didn't snap a good closeup of the lug holes, which is one of the main reasons I bought this particular watch. I'll have to remedy that ASAP.It's in great condition and was well cared for over the last 6 yrs. I've found my perfect weekend watch!!Looking at the images, I just can't stop thinking that the designers just got this one right. It's so utilitarian, but at the same time aesthetically pleasing. Rolex just got it right with the SD.
I've been a lurker but never posted so go easy on me if you would! I was fortunate to receive a new Speedmaster Professional 3570.50 as a gift this Christmas and so far I have to say it's become my new favorite among the other watches I own, which include a Seamaster, a Hueuer Carrera, and the ubiquitous Submariner (16800). I literally don't want to take the Speedy off my wrist. So my question is, is the new Speedmaster a Chronometer movement and should it come with a COSC card? All that was in the box of mine was the plastic International Warranty card. Also, the clasp is a bit loose on mine when closed, not quite the vault-like click you get on my Seamaster's clasp. Anyone else have that experience?Cheers,David
I thought I would post a link to this thread here, as it got zero response on the Accutron forum.Apollo 15 Bulova Moon Watch Up for Auctiona at BonhamsA story buried for over forty years, finally coming to light.A watch buried in a bank vault, shown to the public for the first time.EVER!Apollo-15-Bulova-Chronograph-2-1.jpg
US Open semis: Wawrinka is rocking what I think is a FC Diver... BTW - if you like tennis - this is an epic match. Doubtful the finals could eclipse it.
Just had the call off my AD to say my CK2998 was in and ready for collection Odd turn of events with this one, it was never on my radar but after the AD let me down on the Snoppy they mentioned this model and even though I've not seen it live but I liked it in pics and due to the muck up I could have the first they get it.Originally contemplated trading it straight away to a watch dealer as they are fetching a premium on the used market towards a Snoopy but just couldn't get the figures to work, and since then after seeing a few side by side pics of the CK2998 Vs Snoopy I've started to lean towards the CK2998 so maybe these turn of events were meant to be..Should pair up nicely with my 116600Pics to follow tomorrow after collection
