Audemars Piguet 26170ST.00.D101CR.01 wrist watches news:
The highlight of Glash¨ątte Original’s Baselworld 2015 showcase was the Senator Cosmopolite, an all-new watch with an all-new manufacture movement. The Senator Cosmopolite is intended for the world traveler: it combines an easy-to-read, dual time-zone display with all the high-quality workmanship of German haute horlogerie. Let’s take a look. The dial of the Senator Cosmopolite has plenty going on. All its hands are made of blued steel; the central hour and minutes are poire-shaped. These hands tell the local time, which corresponds to the time-zone indicator ¨C two apertures (for standard and for daylight saving) found at 8 o’clock. It has a big date display at 4 and a day/night indicator at 9; both of these correspond to the local time. The subdial at 12 o’clock is devoted to the home time: two hands provide indication in 12 hours, while a small aperture tells day from night. The home subdial also has Arabic numerals on the hours to differentiate it from the large
What are your thoughts on a choice between an Omega Planet Ocean and a Rolex Submariner LV (the green bezel 50th Anniversary)? I love the PO for its design but find the 25,200vph too jerky on the second hand. The LV has the new maxi dial and hands and a very smooth sweep at 28,800vph, which is cool but not sure the Rolex brand is a bit pretentious?

Hi,My AP 15300 needs a service so I was wondering if (the Dutch or Belgian) readers have some advice on which AP Service Center is the best.I heard some stories that Schaap & Citroen (Rotterdam) is not that good (ie, they overcharge) but this could be entirely wrong...Who can share some experiences? Also about the typical charge. If I read some other posts than I can expect to pay around 15OO Euro (maintenance A).Are there any other options to service an AP (independent experts)? Unlike in the USA I guess sending the watch directly to AP in Le Brassus is not an option, or is it?Many thanks in advance!
...and also with the bracelet if you have it, love to see some wristshots and would like to hear YOUR thoughts...I am thinking of getting one and have it as my only (premium) watch and want the bracelet to have SOME diversity may also get other straps as I am afterall a Panaeristi at heart ...I love rubber straps in the summer but want the bracelet during winter...The AP Diver will replace my SubC and PAM112, love them both but need some freash blood...
