Audemars Piguet SAFARI 26170st.oo.d091cr.01 wrist watches news:
Welcome to the third installment of the Historie de Tourbillon watch collection from Harry Winston. These pieces have always amused and entertained me. For instance, when they came out with the first Historie de Tourbillon watch here I compared it to Star Wars droids. This third piece is something altogether new but retains the conceptual focus on complex tourbillons and the visualization thereof. For me the design of this watch looks like a combination of MB&F (HM2) and DeWitt. Each combing together with some Harry Winston in a sort of "wants to be, but isn't quite Opus way." Harry Winston got its claim to fame via the famed Opus collection that asked independent watch makers to create special limited edition series for the brand. While continuing the Opus collection Harry Winston has also furthered their own creative spirit with wild high-end pieces in other collections. They are cool, but they still look up to "Uncle Opus" for approval and inspiration. The Historie de Tourbillon 3
"Instrument" is probably the best term to describe this nifty little device. It packs a lot of functionality, probably more than you'll ever use. The best way to describe it is a multifunction wristtop computer (term borrowed from Suunto) suitable for extreme conditions that can actually help you survive if you use it properly. The Land Instrument is made by Linde Werdelin, a manufacturer of primarilyluxury watches, and interestingly enough, the Land Instrument is more reasonably priced than you might suspect given its pedigree and functionality. The current price is about $1,100.The name really sums it up: "Land Instrument." It is meant for land based operation as opposed to Linde Werdelin's upcoming Sea Instrument. Specifically, the functions are focused on cold weather, high altitude exploration. For example, it features such notices as an "avalanche warning" or "frostbite warning." This might seem gimmicky, but using the external thermometer and internal barometric pressure gauge a
All that remains is my Tag Heuer F1 chronograph. The Explorer ii is the only watch I have moved out of the collection, thankfully to someone I know. Thus it's in good hands when he's not wearing his Breitling for Bentley behemoth! The time came when all my wrist time is shared between a handful of 40mm watches or smaller. Thus, I was happy to find a collector with similar interests and pulled the deal about an hour ago. Here is me saying my last goodbyes and preparing the package for a good home. Got it all polished and provided extra links and leather strap with logo buckle. Sitting next to my daily watch. Off to a good home! :)The seller? Well he's got a Patek Philippe for dress, drives the new VW beetle. Has two M9's! And a Nikon D700. This was his rare and I mean rarely used X1!Both new homes and happy owners. Thank you B1. One of the ultimate tool watches! Welcome x1!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just want to show off my Hammy with a Toshi strap! I a Toshi (Papaya with Natural Stitching) and it turned out great with my Hammy Jazzmaster automatic in 40mm. The strap is a light brown to a subtle red color depending on the lighting. But either way it looks great!I think it's great that the Jazzmaster can go from a business watch to a great casual watch by swapping out the straps. It is definitely my favorite watch to wear.
A beautiful start to the day here in Siem Reap so why not wear a beautiful watch to breakfast. Rude not to. But Ruud did do Here's a couple of shots of that incredible blue dial which I hope you like (Apologies for the multiple posts but I can't do it any other way from an iOS device)
