Greetings folks,In my previous thread I mentioned having some trouble with my Sparta. In short, I wasn't getting enough motion on the swings to keep my Glash¨¹tte Original Sport EVO wound. It would stop when the power reserve was expended. Changed the batteries. Nope. Not it. Kevin suggested a new cup and that's what did the trick. I could tell instantly that the bearing was smoother and consequently the number of swings about doubled.So I think that the "educational moment" this can offer is that if you have a winder with the Rotorwind mechanism it's important that the cup's bearings move smoothly and freely to get the maximum number of swings per cycle.Bottom line: My watch is still running after 4 days. Problem solved!Oh....and my impressions of the Orbita Sparta. Now that it's running at peak efficiency I have to say that I really like it a lot. The styling is simple and modern.
