I received the inspiration for this thread from bmmeup and his thread about what to do with his collection once he passes on. What watches are in your collection which are on the "never sell" list??? Family heirlooms perhaps?? A wedding gift from your wife or husband??? Gift from a close friend??? On the fence here. Need to send my U serial 16570 Polar in for a service. Generally will not do polish/refinish, just the movement. My guy who I have used before and trust quoted me $575 for the movement overhaul and 2 year warranty. He is only 120 miles from me, so I can drop off and pick up which saves the cost and hassle of shipping.In the past this would be a no brainer, but the forum has me guessing a little as so many seem to support using RSC.Watch is really only worth $3-4K so once this is done I will have much more into her than she is worth.Curious as to what others might chose.
