Audemars Piguet 26290PO.OO.A001VE.01 wrist watches news:
Could folks share any information on this GMT Root Beer?It has a plastic crystal with many obvious scratches.I think it has the 'nipple' dial, can any one confirm and explain the significance?Does this GMT seem authentic? Any idea how old it is? The stem has crud on it (looks like corrosion, I know it lived near the sea fwiw)any idea what the factory service runs for this watch? Any idea how much extra it costs if the stem needs to be replaced (maybe I'm not using the right term, it's the threaded part of the case that seems corroded). Any tips on having it serviced.Next to the TT Sub:Yes I scratched the saphire crystal on the sub, and I have no idea how :( Any idea how much Rolex charges to fix that? Thanks
Has anyone owned or currently have in their collection an Oris Frank Sinatra?? I don't see it on Oris' website and think it may not have been in production since the turn of the century. I stumbled accross it on a well known retailer's website and love it. Any info is much appreciated.
I am interested in starting a collection of WWII military wrist watches, especially Hamilton + Omega US, British, or German Any information and or guidance to lead me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.I am especially interested in learning about these watchesThanks!
Looking at picking one of these up. Is there a big difference in price between the steel bracelet and leather band? Can a steel bracelet be bought aftermarket and vice versa? Thanks, Jorge
