Good news: regulating my Seiko SKX007J4
I'm very happy and just wanted to share this with you guys: I have a Seiko 007 (Japanese version) which was running slow, approximately -30 seconds a day. I don't like watches that lose time, and that thing just kept annoying me everyday because that Seiko is my favorite watch and my beater as well. So I decided it had to be regulated. I wanted to do it by myself, even though I once attempted to do so and it didn��t turn out well. But I wanted a second chance...This tuesday I opened the case back and slightly moved the speed selector towards the "+" sign, just a little bit because I know that 7S26 movements are tricky to regulate. That happened at 11:00 am. I synchronized it with an atomic clock after I closed the case back (not fully, super-tight closed, just in case I had to open it again for further adjustments)Then I put my 007 back on my wrist and kept doing the same activities as everyday, including letting it rest with the dial up from 12:00 am to 07:00 while I sleep.Well, I've b
