Omega 222.60.42.20.01.001 wrist watches news:
Yvan Arpa's Artya watches once again debuts a surprise piece unique model at the upper end of what we might expect from the boutique Geneva-based Swiss "art watch" maker. Rather than deforming a watch case with high voltage electricity or decorating a dial with spiders, insect wings, or human blood, we get the Artya Arabesque Tourbillon that is decorated with hand-engraving. What type of hand engraving? Arabesque engravingand they threw in a tourbillon. While timepieces such as this are rare for Artya, they aren't totally unheard of either. Moreover, Yvan Arpa has plenty of experience with extremely high-end watches. Just a few years ago, watches-dealer covered another brand he is involved with called Spero Lucem, with the "crazy hands" La Clemence tourbillon minute repeater. We also went hands-on with the Artya Son of a Gun Tourbillon watch here. For summer 2015, we now have the Artya Arabesque Tourbillon, and according to Yvan Arpa it is inspired by the Wild West.So much of the design
What can the serial number tell me about the watch other then what year it was made? And how do I tell the other things?
I bought this Seiko 5 watch in August 2008 and now I am having problems with it. It moves waaaaay too fast. It does 1 min. in 37 seconds. Wean a regular that keeps the time have gone 37 seconds my Seiko have gone 1 minute. Does anyone know what the reason for this could be?Is it a way I can fix it?
Let's see what you guys and girls can come up with on this subject. There's a few things I'm missing from my regular rotation and I have some ideas so it would be fun to hear your suggestions. Since I don't have a silver dialed sport watch, here are the contenders. (Dress watch contenders come later in another thread)__________________________________________________ ____Glashutte Original Sport Evolution:At 42 mm it's a tad big and I'm worried about the crown digging into my wrist. I also like a brand not too common, and this gets an 8.5 out of 10 for that factor. High WIS approval rating for in-house movement and overall construction, but a tad on the expensive side. The bezel is just different enough from the Yacht-master too. Add it all up and this is a serious contender! QUESTION: Is there a GMT Sport Evo with a silver dial? (there is one other small thing against it - I really want a GO Pano series and may opt for one of them as a dress watch, which would represent this
When the Omega cal 1861 first used? Many thanks!
